Winter Splendor

Welcome to Island Pointe Resort.

Fifty years ago, on a 15-acre pine-shaded peninsula jutting out into the waters of Lake Delton, Clarence Chappie built his resort.

“Chappie’s” was a stark contrast to the crowded, cookie-cutter motels that lined the busy strip
of nearby Highway 12. Here, towering pines, spacious grounds and the wide waters of Lake Delton provided a restful haven — a place for families to gather, for memories to be made.

Today, most resorts have traded these values for bright lights and big amusements. But here at Island Pointe, the “Chappie's spirit” is still alive, embraced by the individual owners of the units and the guests who return year after year.

A visit to Island Pointe is a visit to a simpler time, when days were spent lounging on sunny
beaches or casting a line into rippling waters, where the whispering wind lulled you to sleep and crystal starlight lit your path in the deep shadows beneath the fragrant pines.

Island Pointe doesn't just exist — it remembers. After one visit, you'll remember too.
And wonder what kept you away for so long.
